Buckler ("we," "our," "us") operates buckler.sh and distributes the Altron and LabGen software products. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our website or purchase our software.

We collect the following categories of information:

• Account information — name, email address, and password hash when you create an account.
• Purchase information — transaction records processed by LemonSqueezy. We do not store payment card data.
• License data — license keys issued, download timestamps, and version history.
• Usage analytics — anonymous page view data via Vercel Analytics. No cross-site tracking.

• To create and manage your account and deliver purchased licenses.
• To send transactional emails (receipts, password resets, license delivery).
• To detect fraud and enforce our Acceptable Use Policy.
• To improve the website and products using aggregated analytics.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

• Supabase — authentication and database hosting. Data stored in the EU.
• LemonSqueezy — payment processing and tax collection. Governed by their Privacy Policy.
• Vercel — website hosting and CDN. May log IP addresses for security purposes.

Account data is retained for the lifetime of your account plus 90 days after deletion. Purchase records are retained for 7 years for tax and legal compliance. You may request deletion of your account at any time via the dashboard or by emailing bucklersoftware@gmail.com.

If you are in the EU or UK, you have rights under GDPR / UK GDPR including the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.
